Daniel and my son joined me for a bicycle ride!  I got a new bike ’cause I can’t drive. 

You can take my driver’s license but ya can’t take my freedom!  Well, hopefully….

So I got the new bike that looks like a cruiser!  Neato!  I’ll post a pick but I even have a little BELL!  oh yeah, momma’s hot

Well, I’ve had the seizures for 11 years but REFUSED to get one of those darned medic alert thingy ma bobs ’cause if I did that means I was giving in… well, or I thought…

So I was reading some folks that were talking about their incidents without having one on who ALSO have seizures…

It Was Not Pretty

Seizures come in many many different forms.  There is the kind that the person is literally jerking around and it’s kinda obvious what’s going on… but there are those of us that have weird ones.

Some folks just stare off in the distance and to someone just taking to them they COULD mistake the person for just ignoring them…. (as happened to someone that gave a really yucky story that convinced me to get one).

My seizures are Complex Partial so I can pass out or not, depending on how bad it is.

So, I have a medic alert bracelet and I got it in a pretty lavender.  Heck, it’s gonna look cute right?

At least if I’m passed out on the side of the road the cops aren’t gonna think I’m drunk!

First – Happy Mother’s Day to the Momma’s out there.    And to those in the position of mother for anyone. 

2nd – You read that right… Utah.  My husband and I went to Qwest Training (Impact Training, Utah).  We were there May 9th through the 12th and came home on the 13th.

I’ll share a tidbit of my experience to you:  OH MY GOODNESS!  It was without a doubt – the most amazing training I have received to date in my life. 

To Date you ask?  Why yes…. because I’m going on to the 2nd training next week called Summit.  And from what I hear it will give me even more to learn. 

Because my experience was of a personal nature I won’t go into details…   Suffice it to say, I’m looking at my life in a wonderful way. 

I deserved it.

There are times when I feel so filled with gratitude that I wonder if anyone can see it around me.  I wonder if an “aura” eminates from a person when they feel so free.

What do you think?  Can folks around you “feel” when you are sad, lonely, happy, excited?

Bertha is the name of my 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan.  Why did I name her?  Well, I name all of my vehicles.  Why?  Because I can.  And I do.  The Mustang if you haven’t been reading is named Ellie.  So, I’m odd but I’m steadilly odd.

So, it was very windy Tuesday and it seems that we didn’t take the basketball hoop to the back of the house.  It was in the back of the house mind you until Christmas day when everyone wanted to have a good basketball game in the front.  We are on a court, so it’s easy peasy to just drag that thing out and have a great game! 

Well, we didn’t drag it back to the back yard that night.  As evident in the morning…

Apparently it was blown over – into the side of my van.  Oy Vey!  Not to mention, the scratch of doom it put on Daniel’s S2k.  ARGH!  I couldn’t even open the driver’s side door as it dented so close to the door.

Well, pooh! 

Windy Windy Windy and quite expensive.

Anyone know of a good body shop in the area over here?!  

… sheesh …

The smoking thing is driving me batty now and then.  But, haven’t smoked at all since the 24th.  Just ready to tear someone’s head off.    In a manner of speaking.

Business is good.

My life is very very good right now.  I owe all the thanks to my friends and family for that.  I couldn’t have asked for a better group of folks to be surrounded by.  Thank you all.
